Beyond Sustainability to Ecosystem Restoration
At Sumberkima Hill, sustainability is about protecting and restoring the natural beauty that surrounds us. Through Metamorfosa's reef restoration and mangrove planting, our organic farms, and the care we put into maintaining hiking trails, we work to keep nature thriving. We support waste management initiatives in collaboration with the NGO plastic free Bali, from the village trash can system to the waste selection centre, reducing what goes to landfill. Every effort is a step toward preserving our oceans, forests, and landscapes for generations to come.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
Local Recycling Centre & Village Partnership
To support better waste management in the area, we partnered with the NGO Plastic Free Bali to help establish a local recycling centre in Sumberkima. We also contributed to the development of a village-wide system of garbage bins. To ensure continuity, we provide financial support for the regular collection and delivery of waste to the recycling centre—helping the village manage waste more effectively and sustainably.
